Breezy Bohemian.
Something about summertime always make the bohemian side of me re-emerge (if it was really ever tucked away) and it really just brings me to the conclusion, you can take the girl out of Southern California but you can't take the SoCal out of the girl. Even though it is always changing, and will probably continue to change for years to come, I feel I did most of my style identifying throughout my early twenties, which was the time we were living in Orange County. My personal style has definitely matured over the past couple of years and definitely simplified, but the touches of bohemian I fell in love with while living on the coast will always hold such a place in my heart. That's why even though I only wear this Jen's Pirate Booty top about once a year (you may remember it from here and here back in 2015) I can never bring myself to part with it; it is so beautifully crafted and perfect for a breezy bohemian day. It pairs perfectly with any beachy, summer pants, like these Anthropologie wide legs I'm wearing, and is so lightweight it's perfect for fighting the humidity of the South. If ya'll aren't familiar with Jen's Pirate Booty, Jen is a Los Angeles based designer who makes basically all of her pieces out of cotton gauze and they're handcrafted in Mexico. Perfect for the inner bohemian in all of us.
