Staple Shirtdress. — Fashion, Some Days

A classic shirtdress probably already exists in your closet, but if not, I think it is a solid investment for those looking to build their wardrobe. A truly timeless style, a shirtdress is so versatile for day to night wear as they can so easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories and they are seasonally appropriate all year long with the right layers. This Anthropologie dress is a new staple in my closet that I've been wearing the past few weeks on extra hot days cause it's just so easy for on the go. The deep, olive color is so beautiful and will transition beautifully into fall and I love the subtle, almost brocade, texture to it - which once again will also be really lovely for layering in the fall to have a little extra texture. Just think, this paired with a rich, camel, chunky sweater, yes! Bringing my boots out now! Just kidding, but seriously, if you're closet is lacking a shirt dress I would definitely suggest scooping one up, you won't regret it!
