Subtle Summer Trends.

I hope you all are winding down from a fun filled weekend; Andrew, Divot and I spent today exploring some new territory on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I wore this casual outfit yesterday to work; it's a pretty basic outfit, appropriate for basically any occasion but it felt fun for a sunny Saturday because all the fun summer trends I combined. First off the circle bag, I'm sure you've seen these all over bloggers, Instagram and Pinterest and I too felt like it was time I finally updated my summer bag arsenal so I purchased this bag from Urban Outfitters last week. This Madewell top I'm wearing is currently on sale for under $20, and highlights two ongoing summer trends, both gingham and tassels. It also has some other subtle touches, like the oversized sleeves, tie waist and embroidery detail at the shoulders. I paired this with some little Madewell earrings also on sale for under $15 to carry out the tassel trend a bit further. The final accessory, a smile, because it is finally beautifully sunny here in Asheville and it seems, at least for now, that the rain has stopped!
