Fave New Floral Maxi. — Fashion, Some Days

Hi y'all Happy Wednesday! I sat down to write this post yesterday evening, and I'm going to be honest I was really struggling with it - I stared at the outfit photos and computer screen for almost an hour and then let myself get side tracked online shopping. I love this Fiesta Dress by Cabi clothing, it's lightweight, feminine and easy for dressing up and down; I love it so much I've worn it about four times in the past few weeks and attempted to shoot a couple times to share with you all. I attempted on multiple occasions because the photos never felt good enough, I struggled to write up this post yesterday because I was looking for something profound to say about florals for Spring and what I'm wearing and once again even these photos didn't feel good enough. That's when I took some time to step away from the blog post - I dug deeper and chatted with Andrew about why I'm blogging, what my goals are, and if I'm enjoying it. The thing is I do love blogging, I've continued to share my outfits for over six years now, because I love it - but when I started years ago it was so simple, snap a photo share what I'm wearing - the point was to inspire you all, and showcase what I'm wearing in real time in my real life on a day to day basis. Share with you different ways to style the same piece, how to look stylish on a budget and how to keep your closet feeling innovative in a slump. Of course technology has come along way over the years and yes, I do enjoy taking aesthetically pleasing photos, but I'm going to try to refocus on my original mission I want to keep you all inspired; and the blog and I have grown a bit so I want to keep you inspired not just in fashion, but in every day life, at home, on the road, wherever and be more honest about it all.

This is what I wore yesterday; I love this Cabi dress for the reasons listed above and the pops of neon color are so fun, and let's be real a little out of the norm for me. I opted for a higher platform wedge yesterday, because it is a fuller silhouette and I thought some height would help elongate my look. Yesterday I worked a full-day at my day job at Anthropologie and these Marc Fisher wedges are fantastic if you work on your feet, yes they are a little high, but they are extremely cushioned and so soft around the toe box that I can wear them for 8 hours and still be able to walk at the end of the day. For those working on your feet, you're welcome!
