Sock Style || Trouser Socks with Everything for Fall.

Socks with shoes, more so socks with unsuspecting shoes, is not a new concept, but it is a new style for me personally. By unsuspecting I mean in a sense of shoes you may more typically wear barefoot, or without socks being visible at all, i.e. with no shows, toe peds, flats liners, etc. Taking myself back to my early childhood bobby sock days, with a touch of one of my current fashion influences, Elaine Benis (fictional character from Seinfeld sitcom) - I’m finding myself wearing ribbed trouser socks with various shoes every day of the week. Highest in my rotation are these Dr Scholl’s loafers paired with off white ribbed socks I bought in a multi pack from Amazon here. I’m loving this look with skirts and dresses but also cropped mom jeans and cuffed trousers.

I haven’t stopped there, I’ve recently been wearing socks with my favorite mules, with cropped denim and my Nike trainers and peeking out of peep toe sandals. Clogs, sandals and an oversized sweater is my favorite cold weather combination right now, doesn’t get much cozier than that. What about you, thoughts on showing your socks?
