Greetings from Pennsylvania.
Well, we live in Pennsylvania now. For now, at least.
It’s getting pretty difficult to keep track of us these days isn’t it? It’s been about four months of us living in our new home in Western PA. Pulled to this region for many reasons - all of which told us in this season of life it made the most sense to be back home close to where both Andrew and I grew up.
We left Atlanta after just 10 quick months, bought a house up North, and picked up our family once again.
This year has taken, and will continue to take us on the road regularly for my job; being in and out of big cities has made coming home and living the slow life that much sweeter. Feeling so grounded amidst a world of chaos has felt like a real luxury and we’ve been soaking up every minute in the place we’re now calling home.
Watching buddy’s curiosity continue to grow is such a beautiful part of parenthood, his love for the outdoors and nature is inspiring and we’ve been closely watching the seasons change so sweetly right from our own backyard.
In between traveling and taking it all in we’ve been slowly taking our time making our house feel like home. Embracing the process of outfitting and decorating, instead of feeling the societal need to make it all picture perfect and ready to host all at once.
This year as Fashion, Some Days continues to grow I’m excited to share with you all just that. The patient journey of collecting found objects to surround ourselves with that inspire creativity and bring joy and calm. To share with you some of our travels as we continue to explore cities and introduce buddy to knew things, and maybe just maybe, a glimpse at me redefining my style as a mom almost two years postpartum. I appreciate you all continuing to be here 10 years in, and I hope throughout the remainder of 2023 we continue to connect in ways.
