Bike Short Style.
Decided to go full force onto the trend wagon for the first time in a while - and found myself out and about one day last week in a pair of new, ribbed bike shorts that I scooped up the Nest Boutique’s new downtown Asheville location. I have been going pretty strong in my efforts to only buy recycled fashion, but was feeling like I was in a bit of a style rut the past few weeks, so figured it would be a good time to give a new trend a whirl. It seemed like perfect timing, with the Nest literally just opening their doors right on Lexington Ave just steps from my work. If you’re going to shop new, shop local right? After seeing these olive bike shorts with a different take on texture - I thought they would be a great pair to transition into Fall. (Seriously can’t wait to wear them with an oversized sweater and combat boots.)
For my first bike short jaunt in public I opted for a casual, sporty look with an oversized tee and some trainers. I actually felt surprisingly so much more comfortable in public than I expected and am truly evaluating if I’m going back to scoop up the black pair they have too!
I couldn’t find these exact ones by NYTT online, but linked a similar pair from Urban Outfitters down below!
