Another Short Story.
Purchased these vintage Liz Claiborne corduroy dream shorts for under $5 a Goodwill a few weeks back. Brought them home and immediately listed them to sell on Poshmark and didn’t think about them again.
Then last Thursday, I took a random R&R day, if you will, off of work and while putzing around the house prior to running errands could not stop thinking about them. I had never tried them on; mainly for fear they wouldn’t fit, and figured without being layered with tights they just wouldn’t be appropriate for a crisp, fall day corduroy or not.
I love proving myself wrong - this was one of those looks, that once the shorts were decided on (and fit was confirmed) I threw together so naturally, in less than five minutes, and headed out the door for errands. Aside from it being an extremely breezy day (why I had to literally hold onto my hat in every shot) the balance of these shorts and this extra oversized turtleneck from Aerie last year made for perfect combination of comfort for this one seasonally appropriate day to wear these shorts. They’re still listed on my Poshmark but if someone makes an offer.. it’s hard to say if I’ll decline!
