Fem Favorites.

I opted for extra feminine vibes one day earlier this week by restyling some old favorites I've had in my closet for some time. You've been seeing this midi skirt for years and it's so basic that I keep finding new ways to reinvent it every season. Over the next couple of months I'm setting myself on a styling and budget challenge to work on restyling clothes I already have to make them fresh and exciting in an effort to slow down on my clothing spending. Andrew and I are trying to plan a trip over seas near the end of the year so I will be working to save towards that. This look is made up of pieces I have had for a while like the top seen here, and the skirt here & here, but I did accent it with a fun, new pair of Steve Madden sandals and suddenly the look felt fresh again. These sandals haven't gone on sale quite yet, I found mine at local shoe shop Tops for under $40 but Target has also done an extremely similar pair here for under $25.
