San Francisco Photo Diary.

Had a fantastic weekend eating and exploring our way up and down California's golden coast. Still only our second time there so the weekends adventure included lots of touristy things but we had a blast! Here's a quick peek at our adventures!

This time we opted for a dog friendly Airbnb since we were traveling with Divot in tow; it was a great private entry apartment in the basement of the green building pictured above. We had a full kitchen and living area so plenty of space for us and Divot to relax in between major walks around the city. We of course spent lots of time relaxing in Golden Gate park, there is something so meditative about relaxing in the calm of a park inside the bustle of the city. Andrew was blown away by bread bowl clam chowder in Fisherman's Wharf we just ordered from one of the street side stands and sat on a bench. For dinner Saturday night we sat on the sidewalk at Magnolia on Haight-Ashbury and our favorite dish was the quail eggs. For me though the best part of this trip was taking the coast through Big Sur on our way home this time, some of the most spectacular view I've ever seen. Only downfall the state parks along the way are not dog friendly so we weren't able to get out of the car at Julia Pfeiffer Falls, but there's always next time!
